Caribbean at the Winter Olympics 2014

One of the reasons I started this blog was to promote the Caribbean to the world in a different way than just a tourism destination with Palmtrees, beaches sun and fun. Wel, the Olympics are here and so are we.
Caribbean athletes ade me proud during the London 2012 games, and I am excited to see what we can do this winter in Sochi. The Countries from the caribbean participating are:

• Cayman Islands - Dow Travers, Alpine skiing
• Dominica - Angelica Morrone di Silvestri & Gary di Silvestri Cross country
• Jamaica - Bobsleigh
• Wayne Blackwood
• Marvin Dixon
• Winston Watts
• BVI - Peter Crook, Freestyle skiing
• USVI - Jasmine Campbell, Alpine skiing

Will we bring home some medals? Lets wait and see. Let the games begin....
